Introduction to the Upanishads 5:30pm–8:30pm
In this class William will introduce the students to one of the great Moksha Shastras. He will lead us in the basics in the study of the Upanisad. The word “Upanisads” is derived from the words upa (near), ni (down) and sad (to sit) i.e.: the sitting down near. Groups of pupils sat near the teacher to learn the secret doctrine. The word also means Brahma knowledge by which ignorance is destroyed.
