200-hour Yoga Teacher Training ProgramWe will work in weekend modules designed to fit into an adult lifestyle training program. Our emphasis is on helping the transformation of the student to become a better student and, if already teaching Yoga, a better teacher of Yoga.
In the tradition of Parampara, you will study under the direct guidance of a knowledgeable teacher that has a teacher. This passing of the light of knowledge of Yoga is know as direct contact and is the time-honored method of learning Yoga. During your class time with Kathleen Wright, Janet MacLeod, Patricia Layton, William Hunt and other esteemed teachers, you will receive mature and clear instruction it the methods of Patanjalis Yoga. A 200-hour program (to begin working towards 500-hour certification) will begin in 2011. Schedule 2011–2012 200 Hour Program:
